Careers

1) I believe it is very important to be passionate about your job. Something your going to be doing spending the same amount of time sleeping everyday(8 hours) for 5 days a week or more is something that you can't just say whatever to or worse do something that makes you miserable. You should enjoy something that your going to be doing for anywhere from 20-40 years of your life. You could go through life working at McDonald's but you don't why because you would hate it so why would you do any other job you would hate just for the better pay then McDonald's, why not just go out get educated and then do something you would want to do. I, myself could never work sitting down so i would never let myself work somewhere like that.

2) For my career i am going to be an electrician and to get there i am going to school next year to get there. I would be going to school this coming year but the class is full but i pasted the entry exam and the results will still be valid next year. the course I'm taking is 6 months and then after that i can work or take the next part of the course. So i could work for 6 months after then go back to school for 4 years or just get 2 years of school done then get back to work for good. I have always been good with electronics and i enjoy it so this would be the best job for me that i would also enjoy the most.

Creative Pursuits

It was an early morning the sun was just rising, you water was roaring just as loudly as ever. The smell of the water was intoxicating it just make everything smell so much more natural unlike the city. The crashing of the rushing water was so violent yet beautiful a site that people rarely take the time to enjoy. the warm sunlight just beginning to rise also added to the intoxicating view. laying in the grassy cliff tops preparing for the journey down this majestic river. It was exciting waiting and just a few more hours before it was light enough. Walking silently listening to the river and feeling the most warm air before the adventurous ride ahead.

The Mortal Instruments (book)

This book has an amazing story line but what really makes it a book that just sucks you in is all the attention to detail and the true myths of the creatures in the shadows. Not only does it have the basic vampire and werewolf war they include faeries and greater demons and it goes through all the details that a lot of books miss or just don't mention like how faeries are the offspring of demons and angles. How a vampire becomes a vampire instead of dying after being drained of blood and the reality of werewolf's not having to transform every night and even during a full moon the transformation can be averted. Also along with all of this the descriptive writing style used helps to draw you into the world your reading about and it just makes the city of glass seem amazing. With all of that and an amazing story line why wouldn't you want to read the series.

A: They have not yet shown what the effect of the fork is or what it means and if it will be a very bad fork or good.

Q: Who are the sisters of the dark and what dangers could they bring?
A: They have not yet been revealed so we don't know who they are or what dangers they might be.

Q: What will happen to Richard with the sisters of the light/sisters of the dark and how quickly will he be able to learn to control the gift and use his magic?
A: Kahlan believes it won't take long at all but sister Verna thinks it will take longer and is unsure of if he learns quickly the knowledge before wisdom will be very bad but Kahlan believes in Richards wisdom as well.

"The Lottery" and "The Perils of indifference"

Even the most ordinary of citizens can do the most horrific and terrible things for reasons ranging from it just being something that has happened for years and they don't know why to logical reasons. Such as in "The Lottery" by Shirley Jackson when Mrs. Hutchinson's own kids were the first to throw stones at her for no reason at all. The fact that no one remembers why they are still doing this and that they are getting there kids involved with this is just a horrify thought. These are just ordinary people not without there own families and they all still continue to put even there families at risk for a tradition that no one remembers why its there and the fact that lots of towns have gotten rid of the lottery already and even more thinking of getting rid of it and yet this town thinks its absurd to get rid of it. No good comes of this and no on understands it but even these ordinary citizens go along with it just because everyone else is doing it and they have been doing it for years now.

Elie Wiesel made good points to how normal German citizens could follow such a horrible leader that wanted to eradicate such a large group of people. Even more ordinary citizens refused to help like Elie Wiesel states "The depressing tale of the St. Louis is a case in point. Sixty years ago, in human cargo - maybe 1000 Jews - was turned back to Nazi Germany." That even after so many Jews were killed for being who they are and instead of giving away there free will choose to stay true to who they are and what they believe in and got killed for it they still were not helped for the longest of time. The fact that we could turn a blind eye to this for so long or just choose not to help because it would be "easier for us that way" or make the decision to help such an abomination of mankind to destroy parts of a human race.

I myself could not partake in such a gruesome event. Killing someone just because we have been doing it for longer then anyone could remember or because everyone is going along with it just doesn't seem to click in my head as "normal" or alright to do. Maybe if the person had done something horrible like murder or rape but if it was just some person or because that person was a certain religion or race then no i could not take part in it only try to stop it.
